East Petaluma Farmers Market

Bpoo and I visited a farmers market for the first time! A friend recommended that we visit the East Petaluma market and check out the great prices on locally grown veggies and fruits, which we’ve found to be shockingly expensive in the supermarkets here compared to the prices in London.
This market, located in the parking lot of the Petaluma Community Center, is a nice cozy one, which sells everything from fish & chips to hats and jewelry. I did not see a large selection of fruits and vegetables on this particular day, but from what was available, the prices were competitive with the nearby grocery stores. Bpoo seemed to enjoy herself, smiling at her fellow toddlers. The market even has a bouncy castle for the older kids!
Outside the community center, Bpoo enjoyed duck-watching at the large pond. We saw a playground just a short walk away, but because it was almost time for lunch, we decided to check it out another day…
